Compiling your New Year Resolutions for 2014?

Here’s some recommended beauty resolutions that you might just want to add in!

Resolution #1. Detoxify! 

We all know how harmful alcohol and caffeine is to our body. Despite that, many of us still intake huge amounts of alcohol and caffeine on a regular basis. Cutting down on this gradually will help your skin, body and health! We know it’s not easy, but take baby steps, and you’d feel motivated once you see the difference!

Resolution #2. Increase H20 Intake.

Resolution #3. Exfoliate your Body Once a Week!

Use a mild soap or scrub to exfoliate your skin, using a washcloth or loofah. Your skin will be more glowy and smooth to touch.

Resolution #4. Block out the Sun!!! 

Wear sunscreen on your face & hands, even in winter or on cloudy days!!! This helps with premature aging. Remember, wrinkly hands can potentially reveal your age!

Resolution #5. Start Exercising

It’s very easy to find a 101 reasons to stop you from exercising, but instead of doing that, why don’t you find 5 good reasons to keep you moving, and put it as your wallpaper on your laptop, your desktop, your tablet, your mobile phone or… paste it on your wall even. Basically, put it everywhere and let it serve as a reminder for you every single day! (hope it helps!)

1. Honey Mask: 

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons of pure honey
Directions:
Apply pure honey to your face allow it to dry for about 15 minutes. Once it has dried up, rinse your face with warm water. You will immediately experience smoother softer and more supple skin. It’s as simple as that!

2. Honey Scrub:

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of pure honey
2 tablespoons of dry oatmeal
1 tablespoon of lemon juice/yoghurt
Directions:
Massage mixture gently on your face for 1-2 mins, then rinse off with warm water. This scrub helps to cleanse your skin thoroughly and oats are very good softening exfoliants. It will be better if you can add 1 tablespoon of finely-ground almonds to the mixture.

3. Honey Bath:

Ingredients:
1/3 cup of honey
Directions:
Add 1/3 cup of honey to your hot bath water. You will find yourself having baby soft skin after that.

4. Honey cleanser:

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of powdered skim milk
1 tablespoon of honey
A few drops of apple vinegar
Directions:
Apply on your face and leave it on for around 2-3mins. Rinse it off with warm water. This helps in exfoliating and cleansing oily skin.
